I had finished my first semester in college, and I was applying for the first-year internships offered by FAANG companies. I saw that lots of programmers have their own online resumes. So I decided that it would be cool to have one myself to try to impress more the recruiters from the internships I was applying for.

Resolutions 2021: An Ok Month | March update
March was an Ok Month. I improved in Japanese but haven't really done anything about math. The last few days have been really hard, personally speaking, but I hope April will be a better month.
Amid a pandemic, the first reflection of TC3045
A year has passed since the pandemic for Covid-19 started a year ago, and as a computer science student, not much has changed. Classes now just moved to online, but I don't need more tools other than my computer. This semester I decided to take the TC3045: Software Quality and Testing course, and so far, it has been the most interesting class this semester
Software Quality: a quest for perfection
When we think about "Quality," it usually is related to physical products. You expect the things to work correctly, last for a few years, and do what they are advertised to do. But software is also a product, and it should be required for it to require certain quality standards. To understand quality in software, first, we need to understand what is quality: how good or bad something is
Resolutions 2021: I’m trying my best | February update
I'm trying my best and that's what matters for me. This is the end of the smallest month of the year. Continue learning Japanese and take the N4 certification test (I’ll try to skip N5 and hope for the best). I reduced those 700 reviews and finished my learning sessions of the level in Wanikani! … Continue reading Resolutions 2021: I’m trying my best | February update

As a Software engineer, even if I miss working in the office (and traveling, … Continue reading Being a student during the zoomesters
Resolutions 2021: Am I even doing something? | January update
This past New Year's Eve, I decided to set some resolutions for 2021 and was really hoping to do them (some of them aren't even optional). To force me to do something, I decided to document what I have done since every last post, my original objective was to do this weekly, but I've been … Continue reading Resolutions 2021: Am I even doing something? | January update
New Year’s resolutions 2021
So this bizarre year has finished, a lot has happened, and a lot has to come yet. Here in Mexico, we received vaccines a few days ago, and the vaccination campaign started, but still, it looks that it'll be a while before everyone has access to the vaccine (I think I'll have access until 2022). … Continue reading New Year’s resolutions 2021
Epilogue – My life as a remote intern
One wall of posters in Facebook HQ, image from my 2018 internship It's been a while (7 months more or less) since I started this planned series, and my conclusion is that I suck at creating post series. I started writing this post like a month ago, but because of school and other work I … Continue reading Epilogue – My life as a remote intern
Architecture, WTF?
Architecture (as we can see in britannica) can be originally defined as being a word referring to the art and science of construction. "architecture" flickr photo by barnyz https://flickr.com/photos/75487768@N04/16110508435 shared under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-ND) license However, as an emerging science, computer science decided that “architecture” sounded like a cool term to use. So, What … Continue reading Architecture, WTF?
